Dance Company

In addition to normal dance classes, company members are also required to take company classes that are offered during the week as well as weekend rehearsals.

1. Mini Company:  Ages 5 to 7
2. Junior Company:  Ages 9 and Up
3. Senior Company:  Ages 12 and Up
4. Modern Company:  Ages 9 and Up

What it Takes

On top of normal dance classes, company members are also required to take company classes that are offered during the week, and to participate in weekend rehearsals.

The company performs in multiple competitions in the Metropolitan area, attends workshops offered throughout the year. The company takes an annual trip to New York City, which includes a Broadway show, private classes at Broadway Dance Center, a personalized tour of the many performance venues, and a meet, and greet with Broadway dancers.

The sole purpose of the Companies at S Be Dance is to give the advanced dancer the opportunity to perform multiple times, enjoy special workshops, and develop advanced technique throughout the year. If you would like to be a special part S Be Dance, please email us at sbedance@aol.com. Auditions for the '08-09 season have already passed; however if you are interested in joining the company please feel free to email us at any time.

Minimum requirements to join the company (Mini Company's may be less):

1. 2 Ballet classes
2. 1 Pilates (for Juniors and Seniors)
3. 1 Technique/Leap & Turns class
4. 1 Jazz Class
5. 1 Lyrical Class
6. Tap (Optional)
7. Hip Hop (Optional)
8. Modern (can be used as your technique class)
(The Mini Company's requirements may be less than those for juniors and seniors)
