Meghan Brennan

A native of Columbus, Ohio, Meghan began her classical ballet training at the Columbus Youth Ballet Academy under the direction of Shir Lee Wu from the Beijing Ballet and Dance Theatre of Harlem. Ms. Brennan continued her studies, winning scholarships to study at the Boston Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and Joffrey Ballet in New York City.

After high school, Ms. Brennan went on to receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance, cum laude, from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music, after which she joined Dayton Contemporary Dance Company's second company immersing herself in the Horton Technique.

Ms. Brennan then turned her attention to teaching and started a classical ballet program and a performing youth ballet ensemble for the serious dance student at the Main Street Conservatory of Dance in Marshfield, WI. As a free-lance teacher/choreographer Ms. Brennan continued her work in Boston and Northern Virginia and is excited about joining the faculty at S Be Dance.
